To feel I've finished with drinking

Been out for drinks today..found it quite frankly boring, expensive and felt sick very quickly. Hate the massive queues and the whole going out scene. I'm only early thirties ffs. Anyone else just feel finished with that part of their life? What do you do for fun instead?

I prefer going out in the afternoons these days, having some food and having a relaxing chat then coming home early evening. I can't be bothered going out, out anymore and quite frankly find it boring. I am 39 now and have probably felt like this for the last 5 years at least.

I still like a drink but it doesn't like me anymore. Had half a glass of red when I was making tea and felt woozy off it so didn't bother having any more.

If it makes you feel less boring, I've never been out drinking in my life! I'm 27, have rarely drank alcohol and never more than half a cider or an alcopop, it has always given me crippling indigestion. I don't like chart music, HATE loud atmospheres and crowds, and drunk people.

I hate going "out out" would much rather sit in a pub than get all dressed up and go into town.

I stopped enjoying it a few years ago (I'm 32). I hate the hangovers (which appear to have gotten worse with age) and I hate how expensive it can be.

I'm pg now though so no booze for me until at least October.

I used to love a night out, but really can't be bothered most of the time. I like going to the pub in the summer and having a few beers in a pub garden, but hate crowded bars where you can't sit down/ hear yourself speak over the music.

I don't really enjoy drinking that much now. Wine gives me such a headache and hate the dry mouth and I don't really like spirits.

God I feel old! Shock

"Only thirties"? I gave up on the whole going out to busy bars on a Saturday night thing in my late twenties. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Early-mid 20s here and currently pregnant, so no alcohol. However, before falling pg I seriously disliked nights out to clubs and preferred a pub/home/quiet bar over going out.
After this one pops out I don't know if I'll drink bar the odd special occasion.

Same. I love a reallllyyy good glass of red wine, and the occasional glass of champagne, but I don't drink more than one glass.

Personally the impact on my mental health the next day just isn't worth it. I'm also pathetic with hangovers.
