I've had four serious boyfriends in my life (including DH)

They've all been Aries.

RagamuffinAndFidget · 29/01/2018 19:05

My Mum’s brother and my Dad’s brother married sisters. It gets weirder - both brothers have the same first and middle names. So John Bob X and John Bob Y both married Jones sisters. Sadly they didn’t opt to have a double wedding!

During a city break last year, we took the train from Bratislava to Vienna for the day. In a busy carriage we get talking to an American couple. The lady was excited to meet us as we're Scottish and her granny was from 'such and such town' in Scotland. I show her my passport. I was also born in 'such and such town'.

ds 1 was born at 8am on 8th Nov, ds 2 was born at 8pm on 8th April.

in a rainforest in costa rica head pokes in car window and a voice says 'oy you bastard... what you doing here' to DH, was only a mate he had shared a holiday house with the previous year and neither of them knew they were going to costa rica at all! let alone being in the same bit of rainforest.

years ago bumping into our next door neighbours on holiday.

Ds 2 was over due by a few days, as soon as I was overdue my mum then said the day he would be born, he was infact born on the day she said. He was born on what would have been my grandfather's 100 th birthday. It made the day even more special.

After I met my husband we discovered we'd worked a 6 min walk apart from each other for years. Only after meeting did we bump into each other. I wonder how often we'd walked past each other before that.

There's a good chance that you did cross each other's paths before, but because you hadn't been introduced, didn't know each other, etc, you simply wouldn't have even noticed each other.

I bumped into the same old school friend (crush in fact) on three separate foreign holidays in three separate countries, despite not being in contact with him in any way (this was Lee-Facebook). I was genuinely terrified he might think I was stalking him. Thankfully he's now moved to the other side of the world!

I also had a dream when on holiday that my brother had burnt his leg on a railway line - my Mum phoned the next day to tell me he'd fallen on his bike and got a big friction burn on his leg - she sent me a photo and it was in the exact same place as in my dream.

Every significant partner (4) I have had since I was a teenager has either had a best friend who commited suicide or died young due to tragic circumstances.

A few years ago, my son and I stayed in a lovely holiday cottage for a week in the sunmer with my parents. The cottages were renovated farm buildings and had an incredible view. Some time later, my son and I were on a train (can't remember where to or from) and got chatting to the couple opposite as it was a table seat. It was around the time of some bad flooding and they had had to move out of their home for a few weeks so we had somehow got talking about that. Anyway, the conversation moved on and I told them about the holiday cottage and where it was. It turned out that when it was a working farm, it had used to belong to the old man's brother! They didn't elucidate too much but implied something bad had happened and the farm had had to be sold.

My dc was born on the same day different year that I met DH and got engaged!

WhitePhantom · 31/01/2018 21:10

When we met up with DH's sister and her family over Christmas, her eldest son, who is also DD's god father, wasn't able to make it due to work. We said we'd arrange to meet up with him over the following weeks, as DD had a present for him.

Shortly after, before we'd got around to arranging it, one Sunday morning out of the blue DD asked when we we going to meet up with 'Jack'. At the same time the doorbell rang, and I joked that was probably him - and it was! Out of the blue, without ringing us first (which he would usually do) he decided to just call to us.

I was born in a small town in England and my mum took me to our home country on the other side of the world when I was a small baby. When I was 11 I started a new school and became friends with a girl with the same name, we soon discovered we also shared a birthday. She came to my house and our mums got chatting about England and worked out we were born in the same hospital. So my friend and I were born on the same day, in the same hospital and given the same first name and ended up in a school of 300 students on the other side of the world 11 years later!

Had a one night stand with some arsehole in butlins (classy, I know). He lived about a two hour drive from me so no chance of ever seeing him again really. A year later current boyfriend buys me and him tickets to watch England at Wembley. Who should be sitting two seats away from me? Arsehole one night stand. Was a bit awkward explaining that to current boyfriend. Confused

My birthday is June 3. I was due on 17 May. My maternal grandparents married June 3, and then also finalised their divorce that day too. My paternal gf died on June 3 1966, as did his brother in 1996. My brother was due oct 17, but born nov 2 - narrowly missing paternal gf birthday nov 1, but landing on maternal gf birthday instead.

Starting with me, June 3, my partners birthday July 6, 4th child, aug 7, eldest sept 4, second oct 6, third jan 1. One month after another. It’s really strange.
