3 dds aged 19 months, 7 and 8. DH works long hours 9 - 10 4 days a week, 9-6 one day and two days off. He has started going to the gym 4 mornings a week on his way to work all on his long days. So is out the house 6 a.m. till 10.30 p.m. His 9 - 6 day i go out to a Church group at 7. But i never bloody get a lie in as his three non gym mornings hes too tired. And now he started going to the gym on his week time day off. Other day off is a Sunday and he lies in bed while i take the girls to Church. Just starting to wonder whats the fecking point in marriage if i never see him?.And utterly fed up of getting 3 kids up and ready and out on my own and then having to slog through bedtime. AIBU?

So the GP told him to go to the gym and you begrudge him looking after his health.

Presumably he doesn't begrudge you not working and having all day to do as you please it seems a bit mean to begrudge him some free time to look after himself. It's not like he's at the pub every day.

Do as she pleases Sheldon?!! Hmm She has a 19 month old.... not easy and 2 older children who need dropping off, picking up from school, packed lunches, meals cooked, clothes washed, reading with, homework. Not to mention all the other crappy house work that comes with having kids in general.

OP your husband is being unreasonable. Working such long hours you'd think he'd want time with you and the kids too. Tell him how you feel because it will only lead to resentment if you don't. Ask him to cut down to 2 gym visits a week and do something active like running with the older kids or taking them swimming etc.

I'm laughing at the suggestion by a poster that someone forgoes the gym and uses hoovering as a form of exercise lol!
