To ask your monthly grocery spend

I've just downloaded a really good budgeting app called 'on trees'. It shows that my average monthly grocery spend is £520. I find this extortionate and am now on a mission to cut it down. This is everything, nappies for two, toiletries, cleaning products etc too.

We are a meat eating family of 2 adults and 3 pre schoolers.

I want it to be £90 a week or under. How much is yours??

We are the same as you two adults 1 in school 1 in nursery 1 pre nursery.

We spend about 550 per month. I thought it was a lot but at the end of the day I've come to the conclusion I need to buy some ready meals etc as with two full time shift workers as parents, we don't have time to make everything from scratch.

I've watched all of the "eat well for less" programmes etc and try my best to shop at Aldi to save money but trailing 3 under 6 round a supermarket is no fun! Maybe when 2 are full time school and we have a little more time I will consider trying to budget about more.

Think it depends where you are regionally possibly also. We are north east.

We a a family of two adults and one 4 month old (end) baby. I think we spend about £500 a month (even pre baby) and that doesn't actually include nappies or wipes. No idea where we are going wrong, but I definitely feel like we are spending too much..,

Me, Dp, 4 dc 14-19 and DSs girlfriends 18 and 19 and we spend around £600.

Two adults one DS, 4. about £400 a month, DS has lunch at school though and DH buys lunch at work. I don't think I could get it much lower without giving up things like fresh fish which we all love.
