To not understand Russell Brand's success with women

He's on the One Show talking nineteen to the dozen about nothing in particular and looking like he needs a good wash.

What on earth do women like Katy Perry and Jemima Khan see in him? Just don't get the appeal AT ALL

OP posts:
sofato5miles · 27/01/2017 20:23

Shag: Cameron
Marry: Brand
Untimely cliff hanger: Trump

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 27/01/2017 20:23

We sound odd because we don't think he's an intellectual? GrinHmm

Mr 'you shouldn't vote, fuck em all but I will climb up Ed Milliband's ass'? Really? Because he's a principled guy....

GreatFuckability · 27/01/2017 20:28

He needs a wash.

Except, he doesn't at all does he? He just has long hair. That's literally all that is even remotely 'out there' about how he looks.

I would.

Ohdearducks · 27/01/2017 20:28

Oh vom he looks like he smells of cheese 🤢

Sparklingbrook · 27/01/2017 20:30

Someone who smelt and needed a wash would not be very successful with women would they? I am sure KP and JK would not have wanted to date/marry a smelly man. Confused

Tweasels · 27/01/2017 20:30

I never said he was an intellectual. He's a comedian but he still doesn't need a wash.

Tweasels · 27/01/2017 20:31

And like I said. I've met him and he smelled nice and definitely clean.

Deadsouls · 27/01/2017 20:32

I think he's used to be a sex addict. He's probably very good at seduction and being charming.

sofato5miles · 27/01/2017 20:32

Livia that is an extrapolation of my post, I said that he is obviously clever and articulate. You may be too or neither, too early to judge.

Flowerydems · 27/01/2017 20:33

I'll be honest I don't get it either, he needs a wash and I'd be worried I'd catch something if I went near his man parts

anyoldname76 · 27/01/2017 20:35

hes on my list of 'celebrities ' id have a free pass with, the other 2 are jack Nicholson and tom hardy Grin

CaraAspen · 27/01/2017 20:36

Horrible reptile.

flumpsnlumpsnstuff · 27/01/2017 20:36

Yup I would Grin

SmileEachDay · 27/01/2017 20:39

I mean, what's to not love? 😂

Ineedmorelemonpledge · 27/01/2017 20:45

I definitely would.

I project that I like hunky handsome guys, but all my filthiest fantasies are about skinny, wiry, veiny bedraggled blokes like RB and Iggy Pop (in the early days).

I think he would be hilarious to have a ONS or a weekend with.

Redcrayons · 27/01/2017 20:45

Shag: Brand
marry: Dave. I'll still be shagging Russel on the side, but Dave is definitely better husband material.
Cliff: Trump, obviously.

SingingInTheRainstorm · 27/01/2017 20:46

He does a lot of work with rehab centres. I find it interesting how he's transformed his life, he's not that Radio 2 presenter anymore. He fights for a lot of good causes, is an activist. If you watch Trews on YouTube (which I doubt many do/will) he's well versed on a lot of things. Promotes good will to everything, the birth of his daughter has added a new level to him. Daughter called Mable if I recall.
Compared to some examples our DC's have today, he's a lot better than TOWIE, MIC, GS etc, which I'm sure depletes my braincells when it's on in the same room I'm dwelling in.
I'd rather listen to him than talentless comedians such as McIntyre, who seems to have one set of jokes and that's it. Other comedians/comediennes are comparable to Mr Mc. He talks about real world/life issues, that affect many.
Whilst his past is very questionable, I doubt any of us are totally perfect and able to judge. Especially since he does a lot of good work, but that doesn't sell tabloid dross. Escapades do, thus many judge him on his past.

DubiousCredentials · 27/01/2017 20:48

Re the phone prank - it was Jonathan Ross not Chris Evans!!

DramaInPyjamas · 27/01/2017 20:49

another "dirty-who-looks-like-he-needs-a-wash" is Pete Doherty- I have met him and can say that he smells amazingly fresh and lovely. Not at all unclean smelling.

#CelebsWhoDontSmellBad Grin

SingingInTheRainstorm · 27/01/2017 20:49

Not to add who his best mate is...

SmileEachDay · 27/01/2017 20:52

Mmmmmpetedocherty

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 27/01/2017 20:52

Peter Doherty looks like he's been left out in the rain. Waterlogged.

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 27/01/2017 20:54

Pete! I didn't mean to sound like a disapproving aunt by calling him Peter

SmileEachDay · 27/01/2017 20:55

'Peter! Come inside this instant. You'll catch your death"
