AIBU to now be embarrassed to use this in public?

I paid £2 for what I thought was a lip salve/chap stick as my face gets very dry in winter. It was only upon reading this that I now wonder if it has an alternative use- but not to be applied in public. Is it me, or do people use this product in ways I never knew exist?

Ugh I hate this balm, claggy and stinks.

Labial is just 'of the lips'. You can even google image it without any surprises!!

To be fair Mumtobelle it's a word with several meanings, the oldest of which are not offensive.

I always have a childish snigger to myself when I use the compeed cold sore plasters, which declare that they are for 'herpes labial'. Then feel a bit depressed because, really - do they need to spell it out quite so baldly?

As long as you only apply it above the waist, you'll be fine

I bought this and have an infantile chuckle each time I use it

Its one of the best products anyway

There is always the stick type deodorant which famously had the instructions to "remove cap and push up bottom" . . .
