Centre Parcs is a very weird place.

Fake forest. Plastic stuff. Signposts and advertising everywhere. Like Ikea in a fake forest with one-way system and bad feng.

Most peculiar.

Verbena that looks brilliant! I love flumes Sad maybe we should go once I've had the baby then. But this is our last chance to go in term time Sad

Stillwishihadabs · 28/01/2017 17:15

When is your baby due penguin?

Verbena37 · 28/01/2017 17:18

The outside Rapids means you would potentially get kicked and pushed, the cyclone im pretty sure doesn't allowed pregnant people.
The other fast chutes at Woburn I'm sure don't allow if pregnant either.
I wouldn't feel safe risking it if I were pregnant again.

It would significantly limit what you're able to do unfortunately.
Couldn't you fib and take your child out of school term time and say they had D and V?

MsGameandWatch · 28/01/2017 17:36

I'm here at Woburn right now. The swimming/dome/water slides are exceptional and I have been to a fair few water parks in my time. We are really enjoying the whole thing actually. It's fab to open the back door and step straight out into forest with the dog.

The food has so far been shite though, I am sorry to say. "Hucks" bordering on inedible.

MsGameandWatch · 28/01/2017 17:38

Oh and I see no difference in the prices in the supermarket.

penguincrumble · 28/01/2017 18:09

Due mid August so in May I'd be late 20s weeks-wise. Flumes are my favourite bit. I'm not sure what's safe in pregnancy but it sounds like this wouldn't be.

Stillwishihadabs · 28/01/2017 18:13

Late 20 weeks, I wouldn't risk it. 14-18 weeks I might (fetus still in the pelvis, so protected and you wouldn't look pregnant). What about going October/ November when you can swim again ? How old is the other dc ?

Basicbrown · 28/01/2017 18:14

Its peaceful

Sorry I haven't rtft. But NO IT ISNT. There are people everywhere.

Yanbu op weird sums it up, that said my second and third visits I quite enjoyed because I knew what to expect Smile

QuackDuckQuack · 28/01/2017 18:24

If you're pregnant I really recommend Disneyland Paris. You get a pass to skip queues for everything out are allowed on and also for character meet-and-greets. You get to go in a dedicated area to watch the parade too. I just had to queue for the rides pregnant women weren't allowed on.
If I was pregnant again I'd definitely go back, but our family is complete, so I'll have to queue in future.

OldLibrary · 28/01/2017 20:22

On no account do Disneyland Paris: its bloody awful.

OldLibrary · 28/01/2017 20:22

In my opinion, in case they sue

Basicbrown · 28/01/2017 23:03

Lol @ old library. It's a once in a lifetime experience imo - and I've been 😂😂

MsGameandWatch · 29/01/2017 11:19

Love DLP 😊

TinselTwins · 29/01/2017 12:22

LOL yes, DLP was certainly a "once in a lifetime" experience here too…. as in, we have zero plans to go back LOL

pinkchampagne1 · 29/01/2017 16:47

Glad it is not just me who hated DLP and has no intention of ever going back!

Basicbrown · 29/01/2017 17:24

TBF I didn't hate it, I'm glad I've been. I just feel I've done it, I can't imagine going again. We met people there who go every year Confused

pinkchampagne1 · 30/01/2017 08:12

I know, some people love it and go year after year. The very thought of that exhausts me!

I am not a huge theme park fan and I hate standing in queues, so a holiday where you are stuck on a theme park for 3 days with nothing else around you was my idea of Hell! Confused

Center Parcs on the other hand, I quite enjoy!
