... on the news... It's been going on for nearly two years now... Why do we need to listen to the entire speech and speculation?

Yes he is a bit of a maveric
Yes he wants to be different
and it is quite likely we may be affected.. But we can't change anything or him. We have to wait and see what actually happens....

Can we have some news when there is some news?

Since the election, he's accused the CIA of spreading misinformation, misrepresented the CIA's official response to the alleged misinformation, appointed a selection of officials who appear to know next to nothing about the job they're taking on, made some dubious claims about the transfer of his business interest to his family, tweeted as erratically as he did during the election, and brought up the whole Russian involvement shitstorm

Actually you must have misunderstood him. He supports the CIA. He said so yesterday. At the CIA.Despite what you think he said, what his tweets said etc - you must have misunderstood him. Grin

It's bothering me that the UK online newspaper i read has got atleast 10% of the stories, including all the ones top of the page, about trump, the rallies, etc. I'm 100% not interested, i have no intention of giving a minutes worth of my time reading about that excuse for a human being, and how the hell do you make an entire news story out of the fact they copied Obama's cake for his cake?

Then don't read. But newspapers use clicks to see what people are interested in. And they know when people link to it.

If people weren't interested, then they wouldn't print the stories.

Just like in the Daily Mail. It's a business.

What a depressing attitude. You clearly weren't out marching yesterday then?

You seem to be confusing the process with the results and the impact. If all you've taken from the epic amount of news is things like when the date of the inauguration is, you haven't been paying any attention. And if you aren't worried, you should be. Bit of a maverick? Sure, and Hitler didn't play well with others.

Maybe instead of being sick and tired of the coverage, you could actually pay attention to some of it and educate yourself?
