What do you do when you can't sleep?

I'm in Oz...it's 4.30am here. I've been waking up at odd hours this week...v unusual for me and I don't know how to handle it at all!

I've been putting my laptop on and browsing for a bit then going back to sleep but of course, I'm waking up knackered!

I am suddenly starving! Do I get up and have something to eat? Put up with the feeling and try to go back? What's best?

I love Allie on ASMRrequests. She did one with bath bombs a while ago that I loved.

Gentlewhispering is great too. I am new to it though so I don't know too many of them yet.

I tried gentle whispering last night and it did send me to sleep but didn't give me the asmr effect. I think maybe I'm not that sensitive to it, so if it's 'removed' by coming through the phone speakers it doesn't work. Nice way to go to sleep though!

Did you try it with headphones? I think you really need headphones to get the full binaural effect.

Some nights I could be really needing it to wind down and it just doesn't have any effect and then other nights I can feel the sounds to the point that it feels like someone is actually touching my scalp. So don't give up just yet. It could be that you just haven't found the right trigger yet!

No, I won't give up toasty, it relaxed me and sent me to sleep reslly quickly so that's all good. That's the main effect I'm after anyway Smile.
