To take a 4 year old to Legoland in March ❄

I want to take my 4 year old to legoland for his birthday, in March. It opens on Friday the 10th of March. Is there much to do there at this time of year, and enough to keep a 4 year old entertained for the price?

Not sure where you live but if you are in the south east and plan on other trips to theme parks/London it may be worth looking at the Merlin annual pass. They usually have a sale in January. I bought in Jan one year just because I planned legoland for DD's birthday and it worked out as a good price with a later trip to Chesington/London Eye etc. We live in the north but have family in London so were able to use it enough to make it good value.

We took our four dc's (aged 4,7,9 and 11) at the end of March/beginning April last year and they loved it. We spent a day in the park and then next day drove into central London for the day and went on the London eye.
I think there is something very low key about legoland, some parts are a little dated but it adds to the charm I think. It's a bit crap in some ways but still good fun and it won't be busy at that time of year (no long queues)
Kids want to go again this year!

It a trip for those interested i legs, and enjoy very low thrill rides.

As an adult i personality wouldn't go but the joy from my DC was worth it.

We've been in march on inset days, very little queueing and I don't remember it being particularly cold.

Legoland is perfect for 4 year olds, if they're tall enough they can go on everything bar the 6 year old driving school.

It's down south in march, not the artic in December, I'm sure you'll not freeze!

It's a great place for kids but only if you go during term time. Avoid school holidays and weekends. We used to take DC out of school for the day to go there. Yes I know, but it's just one day a year.
