AIBU to be so fed up and confused on pyjama issue

AIBU to be serverly annoyed with all the judgements on pyjama wearers?

Can someone explain to me what the big deal over wearing pyjamas is? I don't understand. I shower daily, I wash my clothes if they are used/unclean. When I get up I get dressed go about my day, come home and shower and put pyjama pants on until I get into bed. I take them off before bed as I only sleep in my underwear. If I don't have anything to do in the day I'll wake up and put the pyjama pants on because they are comfortable and warm. If I then realise I have to go out and make a run to the store I'll just go like this as I usually have my children (4m and 2y) with me and if not I'm trying to do the shop as fast as I can to get back to them as my DH is not the best with small children and often gets flustered. I am not choosing to wear them out of laziness, I choose to wear them out of comfort. They are clean, I am clean. Nothing inappropriate is exposed. So I don't understand how it is hurting anybody. I don't think it's fair to sit and judge people who chose to wear pyjamas and be comfortable and I don't understand why people are so offended by this?
I'm sure there are a few people that do wear them because they are lazy and slobbish but I don't think it's fair to judge all people that wear them this way.

DH likes cricket and rugby.
I'm not a fan of anything that includes balls. Well. Badminton. and i tried Golf. But... nope. I'm awful. Although, according to the trainer I had a ... good grip (lewd grin). (Was wayyy before DH, btw)

I do hope DD or any other child we may have won't like football. We'll be like... uh, football, you say?

FizzBombBathTime · 09/01/2017 16:24

Horrid people can't cope with a bit of frozen water

SVJAA · 09/01/2017 16:24

Fizz got DS1 an awesome onesie with the hoops on, a strip and a new ball Grin oh and a ticket for the hearts match at the end of the month. DD is desperate to go but she's too wee, need to wait a bit longer I think.

SVJAA · 09/01/2017 16:25

Horatio I like watching sport, football, rugby, F1 are my favourites but if I tried to do any sport I'd do myself a mischief Grin

1horatio · 09/01/2017 16:29

Should have seen me at golfing. Was in Graubunden and for some reason right next to this weird starter's platform there was a small forest. Well, more like a batch of trees. I think you know where all my balls landed.

Poor person needing to find them...

No idea why my school thought that was a smart school trip activity. 🙈

1horatio · 09/01/2017 16:30

(Btw, I was above the age of consent. Not trying to shame any golf instructors here.)

SVJAA · 09/01/2017 16:30

Haha I'd be the same! My brother is a golfer, worked at Gleneagles and loved it. It's not for me, too much walking about and not enough action.

1horatio · 09/01/2017 16:34

Oh no. My lovely blu-eyed isntructor didn't let me to the walking part yet. We were standing on some sort of raised training platform. 😂😂

SVJAA · 09/01/2017 16:34

Well if there was a decent view Wink

1horatio · 09/01/2017 16:37

Very decent ;) oh my... (makes me feel nostalgic about my youth 😉😉)

Mrsbird311 · 09/01/2017 16:40

So all of these folk who think people should just wear what they like and feel comfortable in would have no problem going in for a smear test to find the doctor wearing a filly thing bikini or a mankini??
People should dress respectfully for their own self respect and out of respect for others

SVJAA · 09/01/2017 16:41

its funny you know, it's only since I hit my mid 30s that I'm comfortable in my own stretchmarked, saggy skin. I wouldn't go back to my schooldays for love nor money (or a fit golf instructor Wink)

FizzBombBathTime · 09/01/2017 16:42

SV what's your secret?!

SVJAA · 09/01/2017 16:47

No idea dude, just all of a sudden realised at 35 that I'm quite happy with who I am and I give no fucks at all what anyone else thinks of me. It's very liberating Grin

SVJAA · 09/01/2017 16:49

Not in a superior way or anything, quite the opposite.

namechanger456 · 09/01/2017 16:53

I so want to go out in pristine pjs and randomly swab people wearing clothes, OCD cleaners style, just to see who is cleaner. Get a life, people.

1horatio · 09/01/2017 16:54

I genuinely like my body (boobs could be a bit bigger, TBH).

But streeetchmarks? My stomach looks as if a tiger assaulted it :0 :(

I know, accept your flaws and wear them as pregnancy battle starts. But I think I may look into getting them lasered or something after DC 2...

EddieStobbart · 09/01/2017 16:54

I stopped reading this thread at about page 28 but I've found it really useful. I don't know anyone who goes out in their pyjamas nor have I ever noticed anyone but if I had I think I would have worried a bit that they were struggling a bit. I can see from this thread I would have been wrong and they are probably just fine so if I do see anyone in future then I won't give it another thought.

FizzBombBathTime · 09/01/2017 16:56

horatio don't give yourself such a hard time about a couple of marks you grew a baby in there fgs!

SV I'm liberating my self then Grin

name can I join you please

SVJAA · 09/01/2017 16:57

1horatio I look like a burst ball, my belly is horrific, I'm bigger than I've ever been. For some reason lately, I just don't care. I'm bizarrely zen about everything. Which is nice Grin

1horatio · 09/01/2017 16:59

Oh trust me, it isn't a couple of stretch marks. My skin is apparently extremely unstretchy. It looks stripy and mauled. Seriously .

Like... from the bottom to the top, big stripes, little stripes. No amount of cream or supplements prevented it.

So, DC2 and then I'll look into some kind of removal options...

namechanger456 · 09/01/2017 17:00

Fizz..absolutely.

SVJAA · 09/01/2017 17:03

Aye mine looks like Freddie Krueger had a tantrum on my stomach.

FizzBombBathTime · 09/01/2017 17:06

GrinMine is a mess too, and I've got a section scar for added decoration

SVJAA · 09/01/2017 17:11

It's bothered me for years but lately it just doesn't. No idea why. If I did I'd bottle it and sell it. I'd make millions!
