To ask if any of you got married in this Ian Stuart dress

...and if so, if anyone would consider selling to me?

It's an Ian Stuart 'Basilica', from 2012. I am a terrible bride and didn't realise you had to order a dress months in advance. I am in love with this dress but can't find it anywhere. I will pay good money for it if anyone is willing to sell! Probably need a size 14 or above though might squeeze into a 12 if I go on a diet.

Really sorry if I've annoyed anyone with the unorthodox use of this forum - it's just I'm really desperate for this dress. Thanks everyone

You don't look 'dumpy', not at all. You're not rail thin, but you have a lovely shape, lovely hair & beautiful skin. It's not essential to be rail thin to get married & look fantastic. One of the most beautiful brides I've seen was my cousins new wife, she's about a size 22 and she looked stunning. Another cousin recently got married after doing lighterlife, she was waif thin and the dress looked fabulous, but she looked ill. Gaunt & grey. My naturally rail thin cousin looked fabulous. I think what counts us buying a dress that suits you and being YOU, not madly dieting for 'the big day'.

I can give you some boobage if you like, I have more than strictly necessary! 😂

TBH I didn't really like the dress but I was thrilled for you when flowery found it. It looks a thousand times better on you and you look incredible. I can't wait to see a photo when you've had the fitting done.

You have excellent taste- well chosen! How clever to know exactly what to get! You look lovely- shapely. Try out different underwear before getting it altered- something (chicken fillets?) may push your bust up a bit so you need less alteration, if you see what I mean.
