To ask if any of you got married in this Ian Stuart dress

...and if so, if anyone would consider selling to me?

It's an Ian Stuart 'Basilica', from 2012. I am a terrible bride and didn't realise you had to order a dress months in advance. I am in love with this dress but can't find it anywhere. I will pay good money for it if anyone is willing to sell! Probably need a size 14 or above though might squeeze into a 12 if I go on a diet.

Really sorry if I've annoyed anyone with the unorthodox use of this forum - it's just I'm really desperate for this dress. Thanks everyone

Hi guys. I thought I'd wait until I'd tried on the dress before updating, as I thought it would be a little egotistical to keep updating everybody with no news. Anyway, the dress arrived at my mother's house yesterday afternoon, so I'm going to try it on this afternoon. Exciting stuff. Thanks again all of you for all the support and interest in this - I'll post pics later on x

Yay madibaba, ignore the people wanting constant updates. Have a magical afternoon trying it on, and remember it's been fitted to someone else so won't fit like a glove and you can get it fitted to be perfect

Hurrah! Have you got a local seamstress lined up to help alter it? They're worth their weight in gold so definitely try to get some recommendations for one rather than relying on a friend/family member who does a bit of seeing from time to time.

Oh thank goodness OP! Was starting to wonder if we'd all been duped as well. Delighted you get to try on today - hope it goes well
