Constant filming of everything!!!

Just been to watch dd2 very lovely nativity. It would have been much lovelier if all the parents just sat and watched it instead of insisting on photographing/filming constantly which includes standing up and blocking the view/leaning over me and blocking my view/constantly rocking the bench seats and shuffling about. Plus not all parents have switched off all the key noises. It was a bit much or am

We have forms btw for consent, if a child can't be on we can edit them out. We don't have all kids on stage though, we usually have some do backstage things and I suspect if there's a child who absolutely can't be on photos they may well do this alongside the kids who don't want to be in the play.

I get you OP , it is quite ridiculous now..

I miss when my DCs were little and the Christmas plays and Christmas class assemblies etc .. They grow so fast.
