To ask what gadgets your 7year olds (or under) have?

DS is 7 and has asked for an iPhone for Christmas

He won't be getting one - he has no need.

We have a family iPad which he uses mainly for games.

He doesn't really have any other gadgets . He's never asked before .

My brother thinks I'm mean and should get him one

What do your 7 year olds own?

Dd has a kindle fire which is brilliant for games, watching films I get with prime.
You can get them for £100 so a cheaper but decent option

My teens had nothing electronic at all until age 8 and 9 when I had to give in to pressure and get them Nintendo DSs "because everyone else has them". They then had cheap mobiles at age 11, iPhones at 15, Xbox at 16/17.
