Baby and interviews

To wonder why someone would find it necessary to always bring a baby with them for a live TV interview Shock

YABU.

Crunchymum · 02/12/2016 20:30

What do you mean?

Was it the presenter (or guest) who had the baby? Or someone in the audience?

HelenF350 · 02/12/2016 20:32

Yabu, what do you care for? Confused

Whatslovegottodo · 02/12/2016 20:55

I saw this is on channel 4 before on a brexit debate on the news.
The baby was adorable. She was however quite distracting as she was on the microphone and babbling etc.
I had mixed opinions on it. Overall it was good though, I think.

Velvetdarkness · 02/12/2016 20:56

I thought it was great! The baby wasn't any trouble.

Booboostwo · 02/12/2016 20:57

Is it a different baby for each interview? Where do they find all these babies? Can I have one too even though I am not being interviewed?

venys · 02/12/2016 20:58

If the baby was like mine, then he/she probably won't be left alone with anyone but Mum for any more than a minute. YABU.

RentANDBills · 02/12/2016 21:06

Depends on the interview and the baby but I'm gonna take a risk here and say YANBU.
You wouldn't take a baby into an important meeting where you were presenting, you wouldn't hold a baby whilst reading the news or doing anything else that's primary purpose was to communicate information clearly.

People do. Few people. But some people do.

Believerofhope · 02/12/2016 21:32

Channel 4 News.
The baby is adorable yes, but so destructive, I couldn't follow the conversation.
She's been a guest on Telly,( Chanel 4 included) with mum from the age of about 6 weeks Smile

I thought there'd be a thread on this! TBH I think Brexit debates could do with a few more cute babies, ooh or puppies.

venys · 03/12/2016 13:26

That's exactly what we need. More joy :)

MommaGee · 03/12/2016 14:39

So was she a guest or a presenter,?

SausageSoda · 03/12/2016 14:41

I find it a bit precious tbh

Whatslovegottodo · 03/12/2016 18:48

Mum was a guest, she is a comedian.

Velvetdarkness · 03/12/2016 19:24

Destructive, Believer?
She was being fed milk the whole time.

Believerofhope · 03/12/2016 20:52

and sitting on the microphone Grin

nannynick · 03/12/2016 21:19

People should bring their cat. Especially if they are an evil mastermind and they have a white Persian cat.

Whatslovegottodo · 03/12/2016 21:20

Can you imagine the outrage if she breast fed the baby instead of bottle fed!!

Whatslovegottodo · 03/12/2016 21:21

And yes to a cat, like the evil one on cats and dogs.

MommaGee · 04/12/2016 00:37

She's a guest, presumably has form for bringing DC so they knew chat they were getting. Don't see the Issie really unless DC screams through the whole thing
