I'm facing this dilemma

Dd year 5 will be in afterschool club and by the time we both get home it'll be 6.30 , and ds will have been home since 4.30

I know lots of kids do this but it'll be about 4 times a week and I'm wondering if he'll get Lonely once the novelty of going on the xbox and eating the contents of the fridge wears off

Homework, youtube, any jobs I have set her, then we can have a chilled evening when I get home.

Skype with mates. They don't even notice the house is empty.

So my y8 DS is not the only one to leave his uniform all over his room and glue himself to ps4/tablet/YouTube??????? Shock Thanks Heaven for MN! Grin

Loona my ds would do that whether I'm here or not ! His dad just left to take dd to a sports activity, after half an hour he looked up from his tablet and asked if they'd left yet Grin

Once the novelty of the XBOX has worn off? Really??? When does that happen then?!

Generally sits in front of the TV and vegetates. May do some homework if it's due in soon.

Tries to find goodies in the kitchen to eat.
