If you are exchange gifts.

If you're a man, what would you love?

Hi OP - just spotted you asked me where I was getting jumpers from! I'll probably get one from Reiss and then a couple of more everyday ones from topman or gap.

DH's GF died a couple of years ago. They were close and DH still misses him. His parents very kindly gave me his old record player, a Garrard 301, which is in a bit of a state - I'm getting it restored for him for Christmas. It's an expensive business, but it's bringing something that has enormous sentimental value for DH back into use.

Test match tickets

puppydogmummy · 30/11/2016 08:06

I've got mine a 1940's style pin up girl framed print Smile

TheNaze73 · 30/11/2016 08:11

6 Nations rugby tickets, obligatory bottle of Chanel Bleu, new gym gear & a top from Paul Smith

Cheesebomble · 30/11/2016 08:18

A watch, outfit for Christmas Day (I get him a posh shirt, designer shoes and his fave jeans), chocolate, smellies, bits n bobs.

I wanted to get him something sporty, like the football ground tour but not as we live nowhere near a ground. He loves all sport but I'm stuck Confused

redexpat · 30/11/2016 08:21

A season pass to the holiday camp (for soft play and swimming)
Harry Potter trivial pursuit.

SquirrelPaws · 30/11/2016 08:21

DH has just cashed in his change jar and bought himself a PS4, so I've got him a couple of games for that, a couple of books, a beer subscription and a big ball of Lindt balls.

Temporaryname137 · 30/11/2016 08:22

A coat and a bag. Via a Westfield voucher as he's such a fussy twat that I would get it wrong and we would argue in a most non Christmassy fashion!

He has a beard (I liked it when it was sexy but now it's more American civil war general, sigh), so as an early Christmas present I got him a "bearded gentleman" advent calendar - a different scent of beard oil behind every door. Lots of cool beard treats for stocking fillers if your gentleman is bearded.

Silly bits from notonthehighstreet and a Molton brown box of shower gels.

Chipsandonionrings · 30/11/2016 08:26

Mine is tricky mainly due to our budget restrictions - so I have bought him 3 sessions on a dry ski slope with tuition, last year it was a surf lesson. I hope he will love it as that's his main present. Also bought him a watch box for storing his watches, a thermal coffee mug and a cookbook.

queenofthemountains · 30/11/2016 08:26

A book on trains, Meccano train model, chocolate selection box and a new cycling top. That'll do.

IhatchedaSnorlax · 30/11/2016 10:28

What's the watch box like Chips?

PrancerForHoney · 30/11/2016 15:17

Tickets to The Dead 60s, a painting he loves in the local pub, a jumper and Boss Orange Aftershave (from Duty Free last month)

hels18 · 30/11/2016 15:30

My OH wanted a Nintendo NES. It's like the bloody Hatchimal for adults as seems to be sold out everywhere. Confused He's got a record player instead, which was his second choice.

GetOutMyCar · 30/11/2016 15:34

Mine's getting a cheese making kit.

ScoopyDoo · 30/11/2016 15:36

Festival ticket ( he'll get me the same) as we try to buy things to do every year, plus it's a way of justifying the cost.
But also got him a slow cooker, whittling kit, fish de-scaler and bone tweezers, and a book about building cabins/sheds.

paap1975 · 30/11/2016 15:50

Snorlax, if you're looking for a nice watch box, Le Tanneur do one which is lovely

handslikecowstits · 30/11/2016 15:54

book about building cabins/sheds

ScoopyDoo what's the book called please?

IhatchedaSnorlax · 30/11/2016 22:20

Thanks paap.

Mulberry72 · 30/11/2016 22:24

An Apple Sport Watch, clothes, some Clarins products, a pair of boots he's been after, aftershave and a book of some sort.
