To think Karma seems to miss some people?

I work at a nursery school that is run by a committee of volunteers. There is a mum who wanted a job at the nursery school (her daughters go here) but was turned down as she was totally unsuitable. This did not go down well. She has since found her way onto the committee and since April has been the chairperson.

She is totally abusing her power. She is scrutinising every move the staff make and is constantly bad mouthing us to parents, causing them to worry unnecessarily. She is absolutely vile and nasty to us and tries to control everything we do and punish us if we challenge her. It is such a shame as it's otherwise a lovely place to work and an outstanding nursery school.

But to outsiders she portrays herself as a lovely down to earth person and it seems they all fall for it. AIBU to genuinely wonder how people can be so two faced and get away with it? I genuinely wonder if she will ever get her comeuppance.

Hmmmm she might not get her cumumpance (sp?) in a physical way but what she will also have to live with her own behaviour and mindset which will be just as terrible.
Remember you only have to see her sometimes, she wakes up every day and is her.

I'm a Buddhist and karma is the bedrock of my religion (as it is for Hindus), it's often misunderstood and that's OK because how are people supposed to know different if that's what they are told, but I feel I always need to point it out when the topic arises.
Especially when people say things like 'I think the person who invented karma just ran out of biscuits or weed'. I can see why you would think that if your understanding of it was just 'what goes around comes around' but like I say it's more complicated than that.
