Me and Dp are bickering over this. Yesterday I broke half of my front tooth. I have a job interview tomorrow so wanted to get it sorted today. Today isn't convienient, Dp is out taking his Sister to the hospital. I've booked an appointment for today and my Sister is going to take me. (Dentist isn't close by and we only have one car). He thinks I'm being vain and difficult and should just go to the interview with a broken front tooth and get it sorted Wednesday. AIBU?

YANBU! It's just one of those things that does look awful, as much as we would love people not to judge or to judge ourselves.. it's the same when my brother gets brown stains on his front teeth from smoking through them. They make him look like a hillbilly! Grin Glad you got it sorted easily OP, I think it could have affected your interview.

YADNBU! I have a cap on my front tooth from falling over when I was six and I've not gone into work for a day or two until i could get an appointment to fix it when it's fallen out - I'm not usually vain but it looks absolutely awful, and it hurts too (only a nub left so very sensitive to cold air, water etc).

You have to project confidence and self assurance at any interview and you are never going to do that if you're cringing and self-conscious due to the tooth!

Good luck btw!
