To be worried and think this is really not normal?

This may be a bit TMI but it's kind of embarrassing and I can't really discuss it in RL!

For the last 2/3 months I have been having severe pain during and after DTD, not every single time but almost.

Dp is....generously proportioned so there have always been times when it has been a little uncomfortable (certain positions etc) but lately it's so so much worse. Sometimes I just have to stop part way through because it's just so painful and then the pain takes ages (and painkillers) to ease off.

I'm starting to get really worried about it - tonight we had to stop as it was too much and after I was in tears. It feels like I'm being/have been stabbed in the uterus/lower abdomen. Hovering around 8 on the 'pain scale'.

I've been to the gp and had a smear, swabs and booked for an ultrasound next week. Swabs showed nothing, no infections etc. Awaiting results of smear test. Ultrasound clinic when booking the appt. made it clear that it was an urgent referral from gp.

Aibu to be worried or am I overreacting? I'm sure it's nothing serious but since the swabs ruled out infections and no issues with my IUD were mentioned all my mind keeps jumping to IS serious stuff. Has anyone else had similar issues that turned out to be easily resolved/ not serious? Need some hand holding Confused

Fedup look at depo if you have your coil taken out. Not for everyone but was great for me after i didn't get on with the coil (they wouldn't give me Mirena tight gits)

Is depo the injection? Not keen on the idea of that, as you can't do anything but wait for it to wear off if it doesn't suit - I did have problems with migraines when on the pill before Sad

I've already had swabs and stuff to rule that out sunshine so at least that's sorted!

If you had migraines on the pill, I'm not sure you'd be allowed to have the depo injection. In fact, DD was told she wouldn't be prescribed any pill if she developed migraines.

Hope it's something easily sorted Thanks
