When I met up with a friend yesterday she told me about her freshly trimmed bushes - front and back. AIBU to feel this is TMI?
Any similar disturbing topiary stories?

Some people take great pride in their gardens Grin

I need mine trimming right now.

Um, it's not the sort of thing I'd share willingly, but maybe it was on her mind and she just had to come out with it.

I have a very large unruly bush that needs some serious attention. Mr Elbows will have to get out his power tools.

The smugness was quite hard to handle.
I'm wondering what the going rate is in bush trimming circles.

I have two friends who have over shared similar information recently. I quite liked it. It was like being back at uni when your housemates give you blow by blow accounts of a night of shagging over a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 Grin

Some bushes can be a bit delicate and might not react well to being trimmed now that the air is so cold.

Pick Excellent advice. Withering of a bush from a too harsh pruning is certainly something to be avoided.
