To ask if mindfulness works for anxiety?

I've suffered from anxiety for most of my life and have recently had CBT, the counsellor thinks that I cope well with managing it and that mindfulness is the next step. Has anyone tried this?

Everybody is different, but it definitely worked wonders for me. Practising mindfulness, meditation and relaxation really calmed me, I was anxious for years but hardly feel it at all now. I usually practice mindfulness when doing a calm activity, like knitting or just walking and breathing. There's no harm trying it I guess. Hope things work out for you.
