To think the Kardashians are not that bad...

I'm prepared to be absolutely flamed for this but here goes.

I think the kardashians are vain and wealth obsessed. However the general publics reaction towards them seems to be they are hideous awful people who commit heinous acts. Am I being unreasonable to think they aren't that harmful. Watching the show they are very loving and supportive of each other. Kim has spoken out quite vocally before about social issues such as racism and the Armenian genocide. Sure they are self-obsessed, but I think I'd rather spend time with them than some of the abusive male celebs who are put on a pedestal and whose actions are exonerated.

Loving and supportive of each other. That's a laugh. From what I've seen on the show they speak to each other like dirt. One of them called their mother a whore! Speaking to your mother like that is disgusting.

I don't hate them, there's no need for that but I think they're annoying and a bad example. Kim and Khloe especially, who have clearly had surgery but lie and say their bodies are from "working out." There are many impressionable young girls out there who will probably go and kill themselves in the gym and then punish themselves for not having Kardashian bodies when it's frankly unachievable.

Apparantly the mother pushed Kim into the sex tape, pimping your daughter out to make money.....

They are vile, tacky, naff, tasteless and superficial. Awful that our daughters grow up in a world where they are the norm. But that apply to many fish faced 'celebs'. Whatever happened to having talent?

The thing I find most odious about them isnt the pimping out of your kids in Vegas, but the treatment of Kylie.

Here is a girl who has grown up with this crap since being a child. She is the least 'beautiful' of all of them, but particularly when compared to Kendall, who Kris has been pushing into modelling (as well as dates with the likes of Lewis Hamilton etc) for a long time. No such pushing for kylie. No, for her is boob job and lips done at 17, as well as rather inappropriate relationship with an older rapper. Unbelievably Kylie is still a teenager but she looks like a completely different person due to the plastic surgery, imagine what she will look like at 30?

I don't know if Kris activeky encouraged these things or if Kylie has largely been ignored by her parents, while mum enjoys her new found singledom and Dad is self absorbed with becoming 'woman of the year'.

But I feel so sorry for poor Kylie.

Kim's partner recorded them having sex and released the tape without her consent - I believe she has sued him for it.

They don't seem like awful people they just seem very very very vain and materialistic. I don't dislike the them personally but I think the world would be a better place if they stopped being famous.
They come across as dumb even though I know they can't be that dumb.

I find their looks quite freaky. Confused

I find them all vacuous, boring, and pathetic and wish they would just all go away. They're partly responsible for teens pouting selfies and wanting to be like them. Thank god my DDs barely know who they are and it all bypassed them.

I did watch some of their show. I lasted 20 minutes. I have never watched such tosh in my life. Are people actually glued to this?

If your kid grows up thinking life will be alright if they get plastic surgery, you're not doing your job as a parent.

The Kardashians bear absolutely no influence on mine or my daughters life.

I think they're nice girls who took a fortunate turn in life. They're glamorous and have had an extremely privileged upbringing.

There is absolutely nothing heinous about them and anyone who is genuinely bothered by their lifestyle is simply jealous.

I.dont hate them because I don't know them but I hate what they stand for and I think what they do is incredibly damaging for them.amd their kids, as well as ours.

They women have reduced themselves to giant boobs, bums and lips. I hate the vanity, the ridiculously distorted view they present as to how women should look. I don't know them so can't like or dislike them but they are terribly damaging as role models for girls.

I actually think the Kardashians are dangerous.

They are part of a powerful cultural zeitgeist, particularly in the US, that is pushing a very deformed notion of what "womanhood" entails. While older women can see this for what it is, there's a fair amount of evidence to suggest that teenage girls cannot.

What appears to be happening is that normal teen girls who are a million miles away from the Kardashian mindset are being to led to think that there is something integrally wrong with them, to the extent that, is combined with homosexual preferences, they are starting to think that they are not "females" at all.

In my view, the Kardashians promote "toxic femininity".

I love it when someone says that you're jealous if you're bothered by them. Hilarious. I hate hate hate what they stand for but my god am I jealous? Absolutely not.

I was on another forum and made a comment about them in a thread and this poster laid into me saying I'm so jealous that I'd sell my own grandmother for 1% of what they earned and the attention they get. I was laughing too much to bother replying TBH. I love my life, I'm comfortably off, I hate the kardashians and there is no room for even an ounce of envy of them in my life because I find them puerile and yes I agree with werk they are damaging in the message they give out to impressionable young girls.

Wonderful role models, if you like the pumped with botox and god knows what else look and want to dress like a prostitute. The mother is beyond despicable, pimping them out.

My wish would be for them is to lose all their money and disappear into obscurity.
