To wear my maternity jeans when I'm not pregnant anymore?!

25 weeks pregnant with DD1. As this is a winter pregnancy I've had to buy quite a few pairs of maternity jeans. DS1 was a summer pregnancy so I mainly wore hareem pant things and dresses.
I've bought some really nice jeans from H&M and thinking they're just the same size as my normal ones but with an elasticated band...no doubt I'll wear them for a wee bit after baby arrives but it would feel a shame to discard them completely after that (not planning any more children). Has anyone else got 'further use' from mat jeans?!

My friend came into work in hers and looked so comfy I was tempted to get some Grin I'm not pregnant but I am on my feet all day and do everything to be as comfortable as possible!

I wish I'd kept mine, I live in a really cold area and could have done with an extra layer on my stomach! Or just for when I was eating big meals and didn't want a waistband digging into me.

My youngest is 2 and I'm still wearing my maternity bras and leggings. I can't wear jeans anymore because my C-section scar starts aching after an hour or so but after reading this thread I'm tempted to get some maternity jeans Grin.

I found my overbump skinnies excellent for cycling - I've got a long back and am prone to flashing my underwear when tops rise up and jeans slip down. I wore my New Look pair pretty much every day for the first year of dd's life, and threw them out when the thighs wore away. I considered buying a new pair but just didn't feel right doing it when I wasn't pregnant!

Thank god I'm not alone in this!

I still wear my maternity skinnies, dd2 is 10 months.

I'm just not back in my normal jeans yet and can't afford to buy a whole new wardrobe only to (hopefully) lose weight and have them never fit again.

Maternity leggings are so comfy! Particularly in those first few months when everywhere is sore and flabby!

Are you all in under bump maternity jeans. I have some under bump from H&M which are comfy and look good. But also some next over bump the same size which are falling off of me. I'm 22 weeks along and not small.

Still wearning my maternity bra's from first DD who is nearly 2.

Can't believe no one has posted this yet

I wore them for a week or two after my two were born but then they wouldn't stay up anymore and I felt they were so stretched out they didn't hold anything in lol.
I was gutted because it's the only time I've ever had the perfect fit in the leg and waist - when I was pregnant lol. I have a thicker waist and no bum or hips and skinny legs so I find it so hard to get jeans to fit.

Sitting in my top shop maternity Leigh's. Child is 18 months.
