To think that Ore 's partner Joanne is a bit too touchy feely?

There seems to be a bit of a spark between them.....
Hm...anyone else noticed something a bit......over friendly?

I think Nat's just happy to have a young, attractive partner for a change. Wink

TheFuckitBuckit · 16/11/2016 06:44

Well she needs to keep her hands in check then grouchy, Just catching up on Saturdays strictly, they've just finished the dance waiting for judges comments, Greg was trying to catch his breath and her hand moved from back to shoulder, moved down to his arm then on to his arse!!

Too much!

MrsJamin · 16/11/2016 06:54

Greg's wife is very supportive, there every week, and Natalie has no "previous", I think it is very unlikely that they are even entertaining a liaison.
I totally get that the couples need to have chemistry when they are dancing, but when they go to Claudia to get their scores, why are they draped all over each other, I find it very odd considering all of the couples apart from Laura and gio had significant others.

NotYoda · 16/11/2016 06:56

MrsJamin

Me too.

It's been more noticeable this year (the draping)

WipsGlitter · 16/11/2016 07:10

I noticed the Oti / Danny thing when he pushed her away. I think he's just a big media whore who didn't want her in front of him when on camera.

Bakedappleflavour · 16/11/2016 07:53

Greg's partner (not wife) isn't there every week at all - she's mostly at home with their two year old.

AlchemySchmidtsSmile · 16/11/2016 11:07

Alternatively Danny was upset as his dad was sick.
Greg's wife is pretty fine and yes, looks after their son - you know, the cute one in rehearsals.
His wife knows exactly how this show works: she allegedly told him to be hotter, whatever that means. If a lot of Greg's appeal was his arse..and for a while that was the case (cha cha particularly was poor) you need the ovary voters spam voting, you need chemistry and flesh on display for that. Natalie was/is a very popular pro (also engaged). All that said, even I am struggling a bit with the gushing...god knows how she'll be if she's ever gets Olly Murs. The latter kept his three year relationship under wraps iirc to maintain an air of availability, he also knows how the business works.

AlchemySchmidtsSmile · 16/11/2016 11:08

^sorry, Greg's partner not wife

WorraLiberty · 16/11/2016 11:15

Ore is an old school friend and thorough all-round great guy. His wife has nothing to worry about.

I can't believe I just read that ^^ but it did make me laugh Grin Grin

I have no idea if his wife has anything to worry about or not.

It's just the thought of someone from his school days popping up to 'confirm' that she hasn't.

Northernpowerhouse · 16/11/2016 11:21

I also thought Joanne was overly draped on Ore when they were up with Claudia.

Redcrayons · 16/11/2016 11:33

i notice most of the pros are married now, wonder if that's deliberate on part of producers.

Natalie is always quite gushy about her celebs. She cries every year about how wonderful dancing with her partner is, now matter how good /bad they are.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 16/11/2016 11:46

I don't know, it must be quite nerve-wracking waiting for the scores and your partner is the only one invested in it as much as you are - I could see why you'd cling a bit!

As an aside, I know plenty of dancers who are very cuddly/touchy-feely. Not all, but more than in general. I suppose it's because personal space is less of a thing when you do ballroom and Latin!

MusterTheRohirim · 16/11/2016 11:50

Ohhh... I just got breakfast dancer! You don't mean a BBC Breakfast presenter, that's why I couldn't get it!

I would seriously love to know all the strictly dalliances over the years.

MrsJamin · 16/11/2016 12:05

Have a read of this by Susan verill, Greg's partner, I really think she is just supportive and he's doing his best. I bet she's a mumsnetter TBH.

MrsJamin · 16/11/2016 12:09

Ah so she came to MN once and was put off by the DH/DC acronyms. (it's not exactly hard to pick up though, is it?)

walkingtheplank · 16/11/2016 12:40

Just watched the Danny and Oti body language - he removed her arms and wiped his cheek when she kissed him, all with no eye contact. I don't think there's anything going on there.

Runny · 16/11/2016 13:03

Ive not got those vibes from Joanne and Ore, but certainly have from Greg and Natalie. I'd not be happy if I was his girlfriend for sure, and her being in the audience most weeks means nothing. Georgia's boyfriend was last year and she still ran off with Giovanni.

MrsJamin · 16/11/2016 13:47

Someone on the SCD thread said that something happened to Danny's father in the week, when he was with Claudia, oti could see he was getting upset, she tried to comfort him but I think by pushing her away he was trying not to give into the tears whilst on the TV.

MingeFog · 16/11/2016 17:39

I'm glad to hear it OP. Everyone who meets Ore doesn't have a bad word to say about him, he's just that sort of person. I'm really pleased he's done so well.
