Only posting here for traffic, dunno if this is even allowed.
But some of my friends noticed a lady with the nn Luciana on another forum got banned and they are worried about her/want to keep in touch. They told me she uses mumsnet as all so I'm doing a call out.

So, Luciana if you see this, drop me a pm if you wish.

HerRoyalFattyness · 13/11/2016 10:12

You'll only get people trying to be youneeq and spelling it ruude-olf.

I actually met a kid called dasher though. I was Hmm Confused "but it's a reindeer name"
The parents wanted to stand out...

StUmbrageinSkelt · 13/11/2016 10:13

I have pineapples in my garden but the fuckers haven't fruited.

I also have banana palms.

But no coconuts. I am glad I have no coconuts.

My mango tree has outdone itself and not set one single fruit. It is a pointless tree.

LuluLovesFruitcakes · 13/11/2016 11:15

Royal - Or they'll add an "e" on the end in some fashion...'cause that girlies up any name Hmm Rudolphe...Rudolphie...the mind boggles!!

HerRoyalFattyness · 13/11/2016 11:30

Very good point lulu

ItShouldHaveBeenJingleJess · 13/11/2016 12:06

RebelRogue · 13/11/2016 12:20

Great ideas for the next time people ask for xmas/winter themed names GrinGrinGrin

ItShouldHaveBeenJingleJess · 13/11/2016 12:29

Rudolphetta?

I like it better.

RebelRogue · 13/11/2016 12:31

I'd go with Phlodur . It's super duper extra special.

OP posts:
HerRoyalFattyness · 13/11/2016 12:36

How are you pronouncing that rebel?

thecolonelbumminganugget · 13/11/2016 12:36

Oh oh, my fun fact...

The next bank holiday this year is boxing day.

When a bank holiday falls on a weekend it gets moved to the next working day. However, because Christmas day is a Sunday the next day is already a bank holiday, therefore Christmas day bank holiday gets bumped to the Tuesday.

I had always assumed they were just shuffled along so christmas day bank holiday was the monday and boxing day got bumped to the Tuesday. Randomly found this out when looking up something on the government website a few weeks ago.

Technically boxing day ocurrs before Christmas day this year.

RebelRogue · 13/11/2016 12:40

Flo-diur I guess? I dunno.. it's just Rudolph spelled backwards, for an extra touch of uniqueness.

OP posts:
RebelRogue · 13/11/2016 12:41

Colonel that actually blew my tiny mind. Way too confusing.

OP posts:
HerRoyalFattyness · 13/11/2016 12:43

LuluLovesFruitcakes · 13/11/2016 12:50

Rebel I can't even pronounce that one Wink

HerRoyalFattyness · 13/11/2016 12:56

So a bit like plodder, but a fl sound instead of the pl? Grin
Perfect name for a precious Christmas princess hun x

RebelRogue · 13/11/2016 13:00

Lulu maybe that's the attraction of made up names. You can pronounce them whatever way you want and no one can tell you you're wrong GrinGrin

OP posts:
LuluLovesFruitcakes · 13/11/2016 13:02

Flodder...gosh that's funny Grin

Rebel That's a very good point. The names you hear some kids being called these days... judgey pants alert

RebelRogue · 13/11/2016 13:03

I'm a name snob. What can I say? I have issues lol

OP posts:
HerRoyalFattyness · 13/11/2016 13:04

I volunteer in a nursery and my key child has a name that everyone goes Hmm at. It's completely made up and absolutely terrible.
