Only posting here for traffic, dunno if this is even allowed.
But some of my friends noticed a lady with the nn Luciana on another forum got banned and they are worried about her/want to keep in touch. They told me she uses mumsnet as all so I'm doing a call out.

So, Luciana if you see this, drop me a pm if you wish.

I also didn't know what 4chan was.

Hope you get in touch with your friend Rebel

ItShouldHaveBeenJingleJess · 12/11/2016 22:50

The Enormous Crocodile hid in a coconut tree. Convincingly.

RebelRogue · 12/11/2016 22:50

Older no worries. I'm just a "bit" older than you GrinGrin

CockacidalManiac · 12/11/2016 22:51

If coconuts freak you out, I recommend you don't watch the episode of The Mighty Boosh set on a desert island. You'll have nightmares. You'll go 'coco loco'.

Wheresthattomoibabber · 12/11/2016 22:51

I have no gallbladder. I'm a deer.

RebelRogue · 12/11/2016 22:51

Adora I just hope she sees this. Even if she won't get in touch, at least she'll know we are thinking about her

glueandstick · 12/11/2016 22:53

mIRC? Jeez that's a blast from the past. Now I feel old!

Was wondering today how to explain what a tape is to my small child in a few years. I never thought I'd grow up.

NotLadyPrickshit · 12/11/2016 22:54

Interesting. In some parts of Ireland dandelions are known as pissebeds. Because they have diuretic qualities. Do woodlice have diuretic qualities too?!

Wheresthattomoibabber · 12/11/2016 23:01

DH calls them chuckypigs. I say slateybacks.

crashdoll · 12/11/2016 23:02

Sometimes my dog malfunctions and just stares into the distance, poking his tongue in and out and occasionally licking his lips.

Yamadori · 12/11/2016 23:03

Another name for the bumble bee is dumbledore.

NotLadyPrickshit · 12/11/2016 23:04

Mitzy we call dandelions pee the beds where I'm from as kids we genuinely thought if we picked them we'd wet the bed

APlaceOnTheCouch · 12/11/2016 23:05

Can we get a warning in the title about the creepy coconut trees? Shock I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight.

olderthanyouthink · 12/11/2016 23:06

glueandstick I'm of an age where I can remember and even used some old tech. My parents had nokia bricks, I had 1 not smart phone, used floppy disks at primary school, watch thomas the tank engine on tape, had nursery rhymes on cassette, CRT tvs & monitors. But thats stuff all childhood stuff and changed quickly as I grew up.

For your child it will more likely be that they can remember hard disk drives but tapes will be like rotary phones, vinyls and valve radios. They'll know they were a thing but have never really used them, except maybe for retro-ness

ItShouldHaveBeenJingleJess · 12/11/2016 23:07

Apparently, I'm a 'scaly-back' (nowt to do with a loofah)
