To stay in bed all day tomorrow?

I've had the week from hell in work and ended up in tears
I haven't slept well all week, taking tablets to help me sleep but still not sleeping past 4.30am.
I don't have dcs this weekend
I did food shopping, all the washing, changed all bedding, cleaned and did a run today!

But I still feel a bit guilty, and my twat ex would call it a waste of a day

AIBU to stay in bed, watch Netflix and do nothing?

Yanbu that's my plan for tomorrow too

EmpressOfTheSevenOceans · 11/11/2016 19:56

Recharging yourself is definitely not the waste of a day! Do what you need to & enjoy it.

Stitchintimesaves9 · 11/11/2016 19:59

Sounds like a horrible week! YANBU to have a day to recuperate - hope you enjoy it!

OhHolyFuck · 11/11/2016 20:10

You can't pour from an empty jug OP - take the day to rest and recharge

AliceInUnderpants · 11/11/2016 20:15

Ugh I'm jealous. My ex has just swapped having the kids overnight on a Wednesday to a Sunday - no days in bed for me

Bertucci · 11/11/2016 20:21

Do it!

I love a day in bed. I would do it an any excuse.

Some great points on here, love the Michelle Obama quote.
It's so true, even if I put something on a to do list for me like a spin class or run (which aren't particularly exciting) they're always the things to go first

Littlemiss I'm so sorry for your loss Sad and for everyone else who's had a shitty day

Yanbu! If you feel it's indulgence then great - go ahead and indulge yourself, you deserve it - enjoy.

jeaux90 · 11/11/2016 21:41
