I'm sat on my hands today distracting myself as two days in a row now I've been tempted. It's not even mid November!

We usually put them up first week of December, so Im determined not to cave. But come on, fess up if you already have them up!

Blackbird the fact that they had half heartedly tried to hide it behind the tv makes me doubt that.

I admit I'm a misery guts though, our tree goes up on the 20th Dec and is rarely still up by New Years Eve.

I think the whole of the Christmas season is too front loaded. Everybody tries to squeeze everything in ( too early) before. Then you get sick and tired of looking at it all and take it all down on Boxing Day (or soon after).

We always have ours up from the 1st of December until the 2nd of January. I love Christmas and I like having the month to celebrate. October and November are the months in which I get the shopping for presents done. I am an avid bargin hunter and starting early always means I catch the bargains. I like to have all of that out of the way so that December is relaxed. I save the wrapping until December. I make lists. A Facebook friends of mine buts hers up.on the 1st of November and takes them down on television 26th of December because she gets fed up of the clutter. For me, that means she misses most of Christmas!
