AIBU to think that I must be the only 42 year old woman who still likes M&S

Just that really. Or is it because I'm plus size (size 18) and my choice on the high street is more limited.

61 and their stuff makes me want to cry.

I'm 45, I used to like it until about 3-5 years ago.
They seem to have gone so frumpy.
I used to buy quite a bit from the limited collection and autograph ranges but even they are completely dull.
I find better stuff in the supermarkets esp Sainsbury's.

I like M&S for underwear, tops for work, plain T shirts, school uniform.

I'm 29, size 10 (8 in m&s) and love it! Autograph, underwear and some other stuff too. Got a great tartan suit the other week and have had loads of compliments. People always surprised it's m&s!

  1. Good for basics; (short) trousers/ jeans that actually cover my derriere, underwear, school uniform, children's clothes.

Their sizing in tops is useless. While the size 10 trousers seems to be appropriate, like Monsoon, I could go camping in their size 8 tops. If you're going to be over generous in size, you need to start the range in a small enough size so that you don't miss sales.

Flatbox - you made me laugh. Why tears?
