Dh has just flounced off because I've said no to putting down a £3k bet that Clinton will win. The chances are she will but I still feel nervy about putting that much money down.

Aibu? He thinks I'm making us miss out on a huge opportunity...

Gosh, I'd be insufferable in your position OP.

Ooh it feels good to be right!
I got a text this morning pointing out how annoying I am when I'm right Grin

I have a t shirt that says "I told you so"
Want to borrow it?

BikeRunSki · 09/11/2016 09:33

I hope you are sticking your tongue out and chanting "nah nah nah nanaaa".

PoisonousSmurf · 09/11/2016 09:38

Should have gone both ways 1.5K on Clinton and Trump. So you still lose, as it was 50-1 for Trump!

When I saw the results this morning I thought of you OP and hoped you had a bloody good crow.

Can see from your update that you clearly did Grin

I put £5 on Trump to win at 4/1 Grin

Geepee71 · 09/11/2016 12:27

Phew and 3 thousand being in the right for you!
Was thinking of you when I saw the results.

CherryCokeFairy · 09/11/2016 20:26

I came back specificially to find this post just to say "Well Done!" Hope you are rubbing it in your other halves face haha

ByeByeLilSebastian · 09/11/2016 21:37

Thanks everyone. I've been doing the 'I told you so' dance all evening Grin
