Have had a quick look at the Christmas food catalogues that have arrived with the post today. Why is everything 'glittering' and/or covered in gold dust? I'm assuming although safe to consume, it will probably pass through and decorate my festive poop. I really don't see the need.

You can't polish a turd - but you can make it sparkle! Lovely

I saw some nice looking fruit cake in a cafe the other day ruined because they'd put a glittery sheen on it which made it look sort of dirty! Put me right off.

Now in the dark post Christmas days who wouldn't want theirbturds to sparkle?

Someone posted something on Facebook a few years back, tablets you can take that turn your shite glittery. I'm like a magpie for anything spangly but even I draw the line there.

My Dad ordered a hot chocolate in Costa yesterday while we were out shopping. It arrived and he looked at me and went "what in the name of royal shit is this? They're glittering the marshmallows? I can't take it any more, I just can't" and spent ten minutes trying to take a photo on his phone to send to his mate to show what the world has come to. I have to agree. You should never eat glittery or fluorescent food.

And to make things worse, I now have 'Mr Hanky the Christmas Poo' as an earworm
