We're upgrading to a king size bed.

If you've bought a nice quality bed recently, would you be able to share where from?

Thank you!

£3000!?

Crikey. Our Vi-spring mattress and wrought iron frame was only about £1500 and the mattresses are a very well respected brand.

John Lewis were great when we recently bought a mattress. Splashed out on a Hypnos one at £999 and it has been well worth it so far.

bonjovi I now wouldn't get a slatted bed frame without a central support, especially for a king size. Plenty of beds do have them so I don't know why Warren Evans ones don't. John Lewis ones all do, I think.

Not Bensons for beds. Our Sealy mattress went mouldy after a month. Replacement has sagged dreadfully after 2 years

Depends on where you are, but I would recommend Vic Smith beds

Dreams are rubbish, take your money, let you down on delivery several times even though the item is 'in stock' and take months to refund when you tell them you can't wait any longer because you have no bed after 3 months waiting. A Google of reviews will bring up lots of reasons not to use them.

We absolutely love our Warren Evans bed and mattress... Had it for about 6 years and its lovely... Best thing about coming home from holidays is getting into my own bed!!... My only niggle is that they only have showrooms in London... (not sure about now!) so we didn't test the mattress.... But spoke to customer services on phone... They gave advice and I just took a chance! It's gorgeous and highly recommended!

I have a Loaf bed and it's beautiful. I love it! We didn't like their mattresses so ordered a John Lewis one instead.

Feather and Black. Love their stuff.

We got ours from Dreams last year. We saw a pretty much identical bed in the Carpet Right just across the road which was half the price (although we did prefer the look of the Dreams one). They price matched and also upgraded it to a spring slatted one for free. Saved loads.

I have a feeling we just happened to be lucky on that particular day but I'm still chuffed about it (I love a bargain) and have no complaints so far.

Our memory foam topped mattress bought a few years ago was from www.memoryfoammattresszleeps.co.uk and honestly it's the best mattress we've ever had, so comfortable. I adore getting into bed at night now.
