I know people will probably say A&E. But...
I've been having chest pain, that quite painful for last hour it's coming and going though and pressing on it helps slightly. Have taken pain killers half an hour ago. No other symptoms, it's coming and going and not to server pain. Am in under reacting or do I wait and see GP. I don't know. Most people say if your experiencing chest pain go and see someone but it doesn't seem serious iyswim. Have DCs home on own tonight as well! Just looking for support

Glad u phoned. I was in hosp for a week with chest pains (that went quickly) and a high pulse. They had ti rule everything out.. yes it was a hassle but health is more important..

My DH ignored his chest pains for 4 hours while we walked around an attraction because it was DS2's birthday and he didn't want to spoil his day, only went to A&E because I eventually forced him to and yes it was a heart attack! Hmm

Chances are its nothing but worth getting checked out.

Women with heart attacks present differently to men. The pain can seem less severe, be more of a dull ache rather than the dramatic 'crushing chest pain' that you see on posters and can come and go.

Other symptoms which are more subtle and occur more frequently in women are fatigue, nausea, shortness of breath or lightheadedness, jaw, neck, arm or back pain.

It really isn't possible to tell if your heart has an arrhythmia without an ECG and they take minutes to perform.
