To LTB because he brought me Dairy Milk? (light-hearted)

DP did the shopping today (big mistake) and I asked him to pick me up a bar of nice chocolate. He knows I really hate Cadburys chocolate so what does he bring me? Fucking Dairy Milk.

I can't even look at him. Grin

DP has just said the potentially fatal words, "All chocolate's the same, isn't it?"

Tell him it's over lol

YABU, for preferring Galaxy to anything Dairy Milk. Bleurgh.

I can't believe that people on here are advocating the purchase of white chocolate. White chocolate is vile, it just tastes like processed sugary shit no matter what brand or how expensive.
Nobody over the age of 10 should eat white chocolate.

GladAllOver · 23/10/2016 21:26

Cadburys used to be good. Not any more since the recipe was changed with that palm oil shit.

BowieFan · 23/10/2016 23:09

Yes, white chocolate is disgusting (except when in cookies)!

Oh, actually my guilty pleasure is a Milky bar but that's it. Can't stomach it other wise, far too sickly sweet.

Completely agree. I used to love Dairy Milk and especially Milk Tray but it all tastes too synthetic now for me.

The kids went to Cadbury World with school last year and my first response was, "Why, what did you do wrong?" Grin

White chocolate isn't really chocolate, is it though?

I dont think I've had Dairy Milk since it got americanized (it was better than galaxy in my youth but that was long ago, and theres wasnt really anything else) but the last Whole Nut (new shape, WTF) did not have a hazelnut in every bite!ShockAngrySad

Used to love Cadburys but agree, it's horrid now.
I've actually told my OH not to by me cheap chocolate anymore. I end up eating but not enjoying it. I'd rather have the occasional nice bar and savour it.
There is currently a Cadburys fruit and nut in the fridge, that I'm sure he bought for me. Not sure why, I've told him hundreds of times I don't like it. Hmm
