AIBU?

I know I'm being petty but AIBU

I've posted a couple of woes about my house share.
Typical London set up where as we don't earn 100k we can't afford to live alone.
Before I had an issue with a girl eating ALL my food, she'd ask for a slice of bread and eat the loaf.
After I called her out on this and leaving the kitchen and bathroom like a fucking bombsite recently, she, who is 27 years old, got her mum to come round and tell me off for being mean to her Confused
Anyway I know she was home all day yesterday as has recently been fired (for being an entitled special snowflake and not understanding why she had to come in on time and couldn't just decide on the morning to not go into work like everyone else), and loads of my food has gone again,
A full bottle of squash is now a third full, i had a packet of crumpets which are gone and a full bag of pasta is about a quarter full now Angry

Seeing as she got her bloody mum to come round and tell me off after I asked her to not eat all my food last time, AIBU to just keep everything in my room so she actually has to buy her own!!?

ahh this brings me back to when I was a student and had to share a house with 8 other people.
My food was constantly disappearing, plates and pans constantly being used/burnt/left dirty for me to wash up.

In the end I had to keep everything in my room and even got a mini fridge to keep milk and butter in.
Extreme lengths perhaps but I was a student and couldn't afford to feed 8 other people.

Telling them to stop didn't work either as everyone denied it.

Some unis take this sort of thing seriously with their students in hall.

When my DD1 was in her first year and in hall there was a handbook with some basic rules. It said that food theft could be subject to disciplinary action.

Yy to the sugar free gummy bears!
That way you're not actually "spiking" food or drink, but it has the same effect.

I'd label the packet as yours, though, just so it's clear that anyone who took one is grabby/sneaky and didn't just misunderstand.

I am also going to suggest throwing some Laxido or Movicol into the squash. It doesn't really have much of a flavour so I think it would be hidden well. Lots of sachets for the best effect.

Werther's sugar free hard candies are the most diabolical laxative in the world. Buy a bag and leave them in the kitchen. She will rue the day!
