To think 3 is too young to watch Star Wars?

My Child came back from 'Dad' saying they'd watch Star Wars. Child is just 3

UsedToBeAPaxmanFan Phantom Menace is the first prequel, with very young Anakin, and was actually intended to be the Star Wars film for very young fans. The one you're talking about is Revenge of the Sith, and I wouldn't show that to a three year old. TPM and ANH, though, sure!

Hey thanks for that. It was definitely the third one of the "new" trilogy that I took ds2 and friends to see. It was horrible!

I took nearly 4yoDS to see Trolls today. You know the cute cuddly guys with pretty hair? Who love to hug, sing and dance? Well it's all about being eaten. Pretty much every creature in the movie wants to eat other creatures (which I guess is just a reflection on life). And some creatures, including talking, named (humanoid) characters do get eaten. It's sort of disturbing. And way more violent than anything in A New Hope.

Also DS loved it and has been playing Trolls and singing Justin Timberlake songs all day.
