Yes I've seen one v small link to one blog about mc, but that's it

Really Disgraceful for a site that's supposed to be all about supporting mothers

Christina I wasn't unpleasant at all, so not sure why you picked on my post. I didn't say OP was BU or that I disagreed. I think MN overall is a very supportive place. Unfortunately, I do find that some organisations pay lip service to important causes like this one. I don't feel that was with MN. I have felt cared for and supported and think this is a credit to the kind people on here. Flowers

Which is what other posters have expressed too. It's clearly very positive that sites like MN can be such a lifeline for so many (mainly) women during the bleakest and grimmest of times.

On the other hand, OP's first two posts are raising the issue that the site co-ordinators (not sure of the exact term) didn't foreground the parliamentary debate in the context of previous work they've done in trying to reduce the shocking rate of stillbirth and lack of support for bereaved parents in the UK. It would have made sense, as it was such a hugely significant event during Babyloss Awareness week, and baby loss is something that MN have foregrounded before.

She wasn't asking for a 'nod in the direction', although I appreciate you didn't mean your post to come over as it did.

I also think it was a bit of a missed opportunity, but with absolutely no intention to marginalise or upset anything behind it.
