Bleach panic

blondieblonde · 09/10/2016 14:36

So I've cleaned the grouting with bleach as per friends' suggestions. I'll wash it off, but am still nervous about giving the kids their bath this evening.

How can I make sure I've washed it off thoroughly? AIBU to let them have their bath, or should we have no bath and I can have one later to make sure all the bleach is gone -- as a test bath.

They really will be fine. Just let them bath.

Lweji · 09/10/2016 14:41

I'd just rinse with plenty of water from the shower.

Sparklesilverglitter · 09/10/2016 14:43

It will be fine

NeedMoreSleepOrSugar · 09/10/2016 14:51

It'll be fine, just bathe them as usual

acasualobserver · 09/10/2016 15:20

Put one in and see how it goes.

I've bleached the bath then rinsed and not given it another thought.

All still alive!

Blimey - calm down. It will be fine to give them a bath.

Mypurplecaravan · 09/10/2016 15:45

It's fine. Honestly. It is just bleach.

Rinse it with shower head so it is not neat and all the grime has gone.

One of the treatments for eczema is bleach baths literally dilute bleach in a bath. The amount you will have used on the grout will be fine. Just don't drink it

BusStopBetty · 09/10/2016 15:45

They'll be nice and clean at least.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 09/10/2016 15:46

It'll be like the swimming pool!

c3pu · 09/10/2016 15:49

Dame was just about to say there's probably more bleach in the pool.

Failing that, bath the least favourite child first as a guinea pig? [Grin]
