To ask for your examples of loony left policies?

I had posted that on another thread but is probably better on its own. Posters keep referring to loony left policies so I would like to know
What left wing policies are, in your opinion, just plain bonkers?

IonaNE

Presumably you went to school when we had none of those things. If we were churning out people like you as a result, I think you're the perfect example of why we need those things!

I am a teacher. The pastoral workers in our school are excellent and very much needed. "All must get prizes" has never been a policy anywhere except in some nurseries. We have sports days, and there are 1st/2nd/3rd prizes, that's it. We have school house competitions where only one house wins and everyone else loses. Same for talent shows, football games etc.

But I suppose if all you do is read what the Sun, Express and Mail tell you, you'll believe this rubbish. I suggest you get off your arse and have a look at what actually happens. I'd be more than happy to swap places with you for a day if you really think kids have it easy and that we as teachers do nothing.

The citizens tax is good planning for the near future when most jobs will be replaced by computers, which will make a mockery if the moral classification of 'hard working strivers' and 'feckless, work shy layabouts'

Any lorry, taxi, car by self drive
Any lawyer etc by search algorithm
Surgeons by robots

There will be one scenario where the middle class disappear and we will have the very poor and the super rich, or something more benign where we share the wealth and jobs around and work 2 day weeks Smile
