Trying to choose a new bed and DH is driving me mad!

We have a divan which we've had since before we got married. I hate it. I want a wooden bed frame.

We went looking at the weekend and DH is being so fussy. He's 6ft tall and keeps moaning about beds with a footend. Thinks he'll be bashing his toes in his sleep.

Is he being unreasonable? Or me?

Dp is over 6,2 and we have just switched to a king size wooden bed with an end and he manages fine.
Had a metal framed double before and he would wake him self up in winter touching the cold metal with his feet

I'm a 6'2 female and I hate beds with 'ends' on, even if they are king/superking. Unless I lay with my head 3 inches from the top of the bed, I'm going to hit the bottom end with my feet. YABU.

If it's been ten years since the original post they should be thinking about replacing their bed sometime soon.
