Looks like Farage is back in charge of UKIP again.....extending his pattern of quitting for the summer than returning triumphant in the Autumn.

AIBU to think he could just take normal holiday like everyone else?

I believe they making way for Steven Woolfe. He is a move away from Farage and may appeal to younger voters

I didn't even realise he had done a whole resign and return cycle before the seat losing one!

At the last election, Cameron claimed: "vote Milliband and you may wake up with Farage". Well, people voted, and what have we ended up with? Only one UKIP MP, and yet every single one of Farage's policies is being implemented by May's government. How did this happen???

4 million people voted for UKIP and of course it is our electoral system that prevented them from having more than one MP. Lots of votes, but second place in many constituencies does not add up to anything. However, TM would rather go for UKIP votes where she sees them as a challenge to the Conservatives, especially in any marginal constituencies. It may be UKIP are a bigger challenge to Labour but TM is making a bid for the more aspirational Labour voter too. This will probably be all about the proposed boundary changes and there will be new seats which would be very winnable for the Conservatives if they can get a few UKIP voters on board.

yes...I don't know how TM is managing to be both Corbyn lite and Farage lite at the same time...but she is certainly giving it a go.
