To ask what your baby is wearing in bed at the moment

So we have started putting our 5 month old daughter to bed (cot, in our room) in a long sleeved vest and a 2.5 tog sleeping bag. According to the gro bag website she only needs a vest and a 1.5 tog bag with a room temp of 22 degrees (this is what the temp is currently)

I worry this isn't enough - she already wakes up with cold hands, and I'm wondering if she needs more on. We sleep with a 10.5 tog duvet and I am sometimes cold

On the other hand, I don't want her to overheat. We live in a new-ish house

I'm just wondering what you have your babies in - should I leave her as she is...?

5 month old DS is in a vest, sleepsuit and 1 tog sleeping bag. Just added a blanket on top of that as his neck felt cool. No idea what temp the bedroom is but it's cold - I should really get a room thermometer!

It's so subjective anyway, all babies are slightly different. Just make sure baby warm but not boiling to touch on neck/chest.

13 week old is in long sleeve sleep suit and sleeping bag from IKEA (god knows how many togs). I think he likes the security of the sleeping bag. We were down south a few weeks ago and it was boiling but he just wouldn't sleep unless he was in it.

Thanks all - it seems she's probably about right. Her hands are like ice blocks too, although she sleeps with them above her head which probably doesn't help. We've only just started putting her in the bags the past couple of weeks - she was under a blanket before then but was getting good at kicking them off
