To think diplomatic immunity should not exist

Foreign diplomats or princesses should face jail if they are convicted of serious offences like murder or kidnap. I would like the civilised world to take a stance against such behaviour. It's not acceptable for a princess to order the murder of anyone. (Even if the body guard does not carry out the order and just beats up the person.)

There's been a problem with this for a while. There was a case a few years ago in bermondsey that involved a death and diplomatic immunity, and certain "princesses" are notorious for absconding from hotels without paying their bills. I think something like that happened at the Dorchester a few years ago, and the bill was so high that the incident reached the papers. There's also been reports of other incidents involving gross abuse of staff.

My feeling is that it should be made clear that law breaking behaviour will not be tolerated, and that Britain ought to bring in a reciprocal property ownership law by which a foreign national cannot own property in Britain unless a British national can own property in the foreign national's country.

I'm really sick of the kowtowing to gulf states purely because of oil and arms deals.
