I couldn't believe it. No excuse. It took me all the time in the world not to put a brick through the window Angry.

I agree that Christmas stuff is appearing in shops too early, but I can't get worked up about it to be honest.

I get much more worked up about people using the word "depressed" flippantly.

I walked through a garden centre today with a giant 8ft dancing snowman and about 70 Xmas trees and lights and decorations! The elves have been working hard!

If I was President of the Universe, Christmas would only happen every 5 years. And it couldn't begin, in any form, until December 1.

I bought present bows today Blush but only (and I mean only) because they were cheap and plentiful. Supermarkets where I live charge a small fortune for just 10.
I digress. YANBU op but depressed is pushing it. My local Spars had Easter eggs (and various yaay it's spring! Tat) out on BOXING DAY last year. What the blue arsed fuck?!?!

Yanbu at all OP. I fucking hate Christmas. It's a very very difficult and painful time. I do NOT want to be reminded of its existence 3 fucking months early. Angry

I like Christmas and I think starting the hype in early November is fine.

But September is pushing it. It's only in the last week it's felt autumnal.

My kids wished everyone in marks and Spencer's happy Christmas today. I have no idea why but it's going to. Be a long bloody haul to December.
