To wonder why others can post on a thread but not me

Just noticed a thread has gone over the 1000 post threshold, its one I have posted on previously so I keep being notified by email everytime someone posts a new message on it....now this is confusing as it clearly states "no more messages on this thread" yet its now at 1015 messages and continuing to grow...are a few long standing privileged posters allowed to post past 1000?

It's a bit strange that the word 'penis' was deemed unacceptable!

Agree, it's very weird. Lots of people complained about the violence of the title, then mnhq left the rest of the violent title intact and censored out the word penis, as if anyone was objecting to that!

Aaaw! Thank you.

Flowers to you too, Jess.

Ginky You could always private message Pinky with your support.

Queenbean · 29/09/2016 18:20

MNHQ confirmed that they believe the thread to be genuine

The OP has been pm-ing people up say she is genuine. Not sure I'd be doing that the day after I found that all out but each to heir own.

Ginkypig · 29/09/2016 19:10

That's a good idea witchy!

I don't know if it would feel a lot of pressure for her though. Strangers on the Internet passing on personal messages.

I'm probably overthinking it though.

witchywoohoo · 29/09/2016 19:15

Nah - you could always just say "no need to reply.... " or something so she knows there is no pressure to reciprocate. I'm sure she appreciates the nice messages she's been getting.

EatsShitAndLeaves · 29/09/2016 19:37

She PM'd me (upset about my post on the thread that had been deleted), but did say she had received lots of supportive PM's, so I don't think there would be an issue should you wish to PM her supportively.

Ginkypig · 30/09/2016 14:36

Thanks everyone.

I did pm her.

I don't expect or need a reply but I wanted her to know that there were lots of us on here that would be around if she needed us.
