Just that. What's wrong with calling it breastfeeding/feeding?

Seems to me its peoples' personal insecurities that are making them hear superiority where there probably is none at all.

Apart from the embroidered nappy. Thats just showboating.

Personally I fought really hard to 'boob'. Everyone was telling me to give up as I was really struggling but I went to tens of clinics and groups and eventually I fed DS1 till a year and with this one we are so far on 7 months.

I am determined because DP has a health condition that I am terrified might make the boys a little more susceptible in inheriting. He is convinced it came about because he wouldn't eat as a baby/child and was in and out of hospital being fed through drips. So I've got it in my head that this is my way of trying to do everything I can to give them maximum antibodies. I don't give a shit how anyone else chooses to feed their babies, and I'm not some smug bitch who tried to use language to make other women feel bad about themselves. 'Boobs' just feels more child friendly than 'breast', so that's what gets said in the house.

Breast is an anatomically correct term. Boobs is benny hill, page 3 etc

But is breast correct? Or is mamary gland more correct?

There is a lot of scorn on this thread from women against other women. For doing something as simple as referring to a biological normal act as something other than what you find acceptable.

It doesn’t really matter what you call it as long as the baby/toddler is being fed does it? Do you bottle feed or formula feed? Neither really as you give formula (or bm) in a bottle.

Do I have breasts? No. I don't. I have mammary glands. A chicken has a breaSt though.

Do I have a bum? What is a bum? I have an anus, a rectum, I have thighs, and I have buttocks. I don't technically have a bum but if I say bum you know what I mean.

It seems to me that you may only use different words for anatomy if it meets with some weird approval.

And if I wish to use or refer to my breastfeeding as any other term than breastfeeding I am being superior?

And yet there you sit judging away. I boobed my baby. I even wore my baby. I don't actually give a fuck what anyone thinks.
