Ok, I have named changed as I've been banging on about this for a week people will identify me

Last Sunday I was home alone, had flu all week starting to get on the mend and decided to order a pizza and salad gotta be healthy my first time ordering with Pizza Hut

When it arrived, I answered the door and the delivery driver told me to wait a minute (he was on the phone) I said cat is about to escape he then said wait another minute as he continued on his phone call. I shut the door to not let cats escape and he then rang the bell again five minutes later

Took in food, he left. Chicken is cold and my salad was out of date by a day. (It's actually a criminal offense to sell something past a use by date)

I contact Pizza Hut to tell them the situation (I just say food is out of date, delivery driver a bit rude I'd like a refund please)
I contacted again on Monday
I contacted again on Tuesday

Finally I get a response on Wednesday asking me for all the details I gave on Sunday (name/time/order value)

Thursday I get asked again for the same details, and told it is with the store

Friday I get asked for the same details

I'm still waiting for a response

Surely they should bloody refund me for the manky salad

I think pizza hut is a franchise rather than a chain so the quality of service can be somewhat variable.

The cold pizza and service were very poor but not sure you will get anywhere with that. Salad is totally unacceptable. But wtf were you thinking ordering salad?

Do Pizza Hut have guaranteed delivery times? Perhaps the delivery chap needed to have knocked on your door at a very specific time so's not to have been penalised. Other than that, I can't think of any good reason why everything else was crap.

I would have told him to fuck off with his 'wait a minute'. Seriously?! That's ridiculous, you don't make customers wait when they've already been ha gong round for the delivery. I would also have shut cat away before answering the door.

I just thought sending a message via their portal with that photo would prompt them to give me a refund even for the bloody salad

cherry have three cats they are very well trained to stand back from the front door mostly they are sleep when it is open quickly to receive parcels

Next time, get your food through something hungry house or justeat. When companies fuck up, instant refunds. None of this fobbing off crap, vouchers, or discounts on your next order.
And that isn't a salad. Its a disgrace, even if it was in date they should be falling over themselves to apologise and refund.

I used to work for a Pizza Hut takeout place, they never paid me for 2 weeks wages so I wouldn't hold your breath on that refund, unfortunately.
