I know I'm not lol!! My favourite is between two from different countries ... Firstly I of course love rare juicy beef and all the trimmings!!! Secondly I also love a traditional Indian Sunday lunch of maybe 2-3 different curries rice and chappatis and special spiced yogurt! So what's yours?! Inspire...

Mine is roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings, but I don't always wait till Sunday 😀

Gosh this thread is making me so hungry.

I love all roasts but what is key is really good gravy and perfect potatoes.

Also critical:
Horseradish if it's beef
Red wine and port sauce if it's duck.

Yum!

Gammon with crackling. Yorkshire puds, cauli, brocolli, near Xmas we have sprouts, but is usually savoy or red cabbage fried in garlic olive oil and cracked black pepper on top. Roast potatoes cooked in goose fat.

My favourite is this bad boy I had last week. Still drooling at the thought of it. Anyone in London - get yourself to a hawksmoor restaurant today!

I'm veggie but not a particularly great cook. I like Asda's root veg and nut roast with mustard ale gravy, which I'd serve with:

roasties cooked in olive oil, freshly ground salt and pepper and mixed herbs
Parsnips as above
Carrots as above
Shallots as above
Steamed petits pois and tinned sweetcorn
Yorkshire puds, which I'd have to buy as I tried making them but failed Blush

Yum yum yum. Smile

Oh, also stuffing balls, cooked in the oven, and served alongside, which I can make successfully.

StillRocking that's our favourite! And where the bonemarrow gravy is from - we now have the book and a supply of gravy constantly on hand. Best steaks ever.

Any roast dinner is fine by me
